Terms & Conditions

Enrolment at Shining C Music Studio is confirmed once a completed enrolment form and initial payment have been received. Lessons are allocated on a term basis. Continuation into the next term is assumed unless written notice of withdrawal is given before the end of the current term.

Term fees are payable in advance at the start of each term. We accept bank transfer and cash. Fees are non-refundable except in circumstances outlined under the Cancellation policy below. All fees are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where applicable.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be forfeited unless due to illness supported by a medical certificate, or emergency. Make-up lessons are offered at the teacher's discretion and subject to availability.

Two weeks' written notice is required to withdraw from lessons. Fees paid in advance are non-refundable unless the studio is unable to provide lessons. Fees for any lessons remaining within the notice period will remain payable.

Students and parents/guardians are expected to treat teachers and other students with courtesy and respect. The studio reserves the right to terminate enrolment without refund if conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive. Students are responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment or property.

From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during lessons or studio events for promotional and social media purposes. Please notify us in writing if you do not consent to your child (or yourself) being photographed or filmed.

Personal information collected at enrolment is used solely for administrative and communication purposes related to your lessons. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent.
