Community Concert at Summerset Retirement Village
Our Community Concert at Summerset at Monterey Park Retirement Village was a wonderful success.
Our students shared an afternoon of music with the residents, performing a variety of piano and violin pieces in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Many of the performers were stepping onto a public stage for the very first time, making this experience especially meaningful.
The residents responded with heartfelt applause, smiles, and words of encouragement throughout the concert. Their kindness and support gave our young musicians confidence, helping them overcome nerves and truly enjoy the experience of performing.
At Shining C Music Studio, we believe that music is not only about developing performance skills, but also about building confidence, compassion, and meaningful connections within the community. We are proud of every student who took part and are grateful to the residents and staff at Summerset for making this event such a memorable experience.
We look forward to making community performances a regular part of our students’ musical journey and to continuing our partnership with Summerset in the years to come.
